A $10 NTTA tolls to all applicable mobile visits.
Mileage beyond 20 miles is built at $2 per mile.

Daytime travel fee - 1 notarial act - Up to 30 min. Best for simple, single-document signings during daytime hours. Perfect for quick acknowledgements, oaths, or single-signature documents. Additional acts at $10 each.
Tier 2 - The Seal Package

Afternoon/evening travel fee - Up to 3 notarial acts - Up to 30 min. Afternoon multi-document visits and after-business-hours convenience. Ideal for real estate documents (other than loan documents), powers of attorney, or multi-signature files. Additional acts at $10 each.
Tier 3 - The Legacy Package

Travel fee - 5 notarial acts - Up to 30 min - Priority scheduling. Evening signings - estate planning, POAs, and multi-signer documents. Reserved for time-sensitive or high-document-count needs. Additional acts at $10 each.

Q: What is a mobile notary and how does it work?
A: A mobile notary travels to your location — your home, office, hospital, or anywhere convenient — to witness and authenticate your signature on legal documents. Barrister's Mark serves the North DFW area including Melissa, McKinney, Allen, Anna, Frisco, and surrounding Collin County.
Q: What identification do I need for notarization?
A: You'll need a current, government-issued photo ID such as a Texas driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID. The name on your ID must match exactly the name on the document being notarized.
Q: Can I sign my documents before the notary arrives?
A: No. You must sign all documents in the notary's presence. Pre-signed documents cannot be notarized. Please wait until your appointment.
Q: What is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?
A: RON allows you to get documents notarized entirely online via live video call — no in-person meeting required. It's legal in Texas and ideal for clients who are out of state, homebound, or prefer the convenience of virtual service.
Q: What documents can Barrister's Mark notarize?
A: Common documents include powers of attorney, affidavits, deeds, financial statements, loan documents, medical directives, and more. If you're unsure whether your document qualifies, just call or text us.
Q: How much does mobile notary service cost?
A: Our travel fee starts at $35 (Signature Stroll) within 20 miles of Melissa, TX 75454, plus $10 per notarial act. Mileage beyond 10 miles is billed at $2/mile, and applicable NTTA tolls are passed through.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: Same-day and next-day appointments are often available. The sooner you reach out, the better we can accommodate your schedule.
