Q: Are you a legally authorized wedding officiant in Texas?
A: Yes. Barrister's Mark owner Kelly Rowlett is a licensed wedding officiant authorized to perform legally binding marriage ceremonies in the state of Texas.
Q: Can you customize our ceremony?
A: Absolutely. Every ceremony script is written specifically for you — your love story, your tone, your moment. Whether you want traditional, modern, spiritual, humorous, or a blend, your ceremony will be uniquely yours.
Q: What do you need from us to legally marry us in Texas?
A: You'll need a valid Texas marriage license issued by any Texas county clerk. You must apply in person together, and the license is valid for 90 days. We'll walk you through everything you need to know.
Q: Do you offer elopement or express wedding packages?
A: Yes. Our Elopement / Swift Package starts at $125 and includes the legal statement, officiant signature, and filing of the wedding certificate. Perfect for couples who want something simple, intimate, and legal.
Q: Can you officiate for out-of-state couples getting married in Texas?
A: Yes. Texas has no residency requirement for marriage. Out-of-state and international couples are welcome.

Twogether in Texas is a state-approved premarital education program that qualifies couples for a $60 discount on their Texas marriage license. The Joy Filled Marriage is an 8-hour course covering communication, conflict resolution, financial planning, expectations, and building a strong foundation for married life. The course is nondenominational and welcoming to all couples.

A: Kelly Rowlett of Barrister's Mark is a registered Twogether in Texas provider. The course is taught in a warm, practical, non-clinical environment focused on building real communication and life skills.
Q: How long is the course and what does it cost?
A: The Joy Filled Marriage course runs approximately 8 hours and is $60 per couple as a standalone registration. It is included at no additional charge in the Twogether Package, Twogether and More, and Twogether Elevated wedding officiant packages.
Q: Is this a religious program?
A: No. The course is non-denominational and welcoming to all couples regardless of faith background.
Q: Will we receive a certificate?
A: Yes. Upon completion you'll receive your Twogether in Texas certificate, which you present to the county clerk when applying for your marriage license to receive the discounted fee.
